The Little Book of Plastic Dreams was used in launching a student project titled ‘Nip/Tuk’; a dust cover for a book based on plastic surgery. My students had the choice of what genre and format the book would be. In this case I decided to base my own design on classic fifties crime novels. The end result makes use of both slick graphics, folding techniques and paper stock.
